MEX Restaurant Coming Soon to Great Lakes Crossing Outlets
Metro Detroit eatery to open at the shopping center in time for the holidays

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Oct. 25, 2016 – Great Lakes Crossing Outlets, Michigan’s largest indoor regional outlet center, today announced that MEX Restaurant will join its lineup in December.
Led by local chef and restauranteur Zack Sklar, the 6,000 sq. ft. MEX Restaurant at Great Lakes Crossing will be the second location in Metro Detroit. Located in shopping District 6, the restaurant will offer fresh authentic Mexican cuisine and craft cocktails. The space will also feature an expansive patio for outdoor dining during the summer months.
“Great Lakes Crossing shoppers will have a new dining destination this holiday season and MEX will certainly be a notable addition,” said Melissa Morang, the center’s marketing and sponsorship director. “It’s encouraging to see Detroit-based brands expanding their presence in this market and opening new locations for customers to enjoy.”
Also recently opened is Michigan’s First Shinola Outlet, which will join the shopping center’s lineup this month. Recent openings include Steve Madden, Toys “R” Us Express, Rise Pies Handcrafted Pizza, Vera Bradley Outlet Store and LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan.
